NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING FOR TOWN OF KING

            Notice is hereby given that on Monday November 8th 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at the King Town Hall, W4450 County Road A, a PUBLIC HEARING on the 2022 PROPOSED BUDGET of the Town of King, Lincoln County, will be held.  The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the clerk’s office.  Please contact Clerk, Georgene Linden @ 715-908-0001 for further information.  The summary of the proposed budget is posted on all Town Public Notice Boards & on Town Website.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL AND REGULAR MONTHLY TOWN MEETING

OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF KING, LINCOLN COUNTY

            Notice is hereby given of the regular Monthly Meeting and Special Town meeting of the electors of the Town of King on Monday November 8th, 2021. This special town meeting will immediately follow the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2022 town budget, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the King Town Hall, W4450 County Road A. The regular Monthly meeting to follow.  

The Special Town Meeting of the Electors is called pursuant to Sec.60.12 (1)(b) of Wisconsin statutes by the town board for the following purposes:

  1. To approve the 2022 Highway Expenditures pursuant to Section 82.03(2) of the Wisconsin statutes.
  2. To adopt the 2021 Town Tax Levy to be collected in 2022 pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 60.10(1)(a)

 The Town Board will convene after the Public Budget Hearing and Special Town Meeting to adopt the Town Budget for 2022 pursuant to Section 60.40(4) of Wisconsin Statutes
